Hi there!
My name is Marília Arruda Pereira, I’m a Brazilian designer and illustrator and recent graduate from the MA Illustration course at Camberwell College of Arts, UAL.
My work usually deals with themes such as personal and collective memory, cultural heritage, memory and the unknown. A lot of my recent work also revolves around the observation of the poetic details of daily life, exploring the strange within the everyday and using drawing as method of research.
I have a background in graphic design and I am passionate about book design and book arts. My approach to illustration usually includes an investigation of mixing traditional and digital media in every step of my process, from sketching to printing.
Let's work together!
